Following are the eligibility criteria of CA CPT -
1. Candidates must have passed their 10th and 12th level qualifying examination from a recognised board of education or equivalent examination.
2. Candidates must have registered with ICAI for CPT course before June 30 to be eligible for appearing in CPT exam.
3. Candidates who have completed Bachelor or Masters degree in commerce with at least 55% marks are exempted from appearing in CA CPT.

The CA CPT Exam eligibility criteria 2017 is as follows:
1. You must have passed 10+2 examination or equivalent from a recognized institution.
2. You must be registered for the Common Proficiency Test with the Board of Studies of the Indian Chartered
Accountancy of India (ICAI).
3. Even if you have already registered for the Professional Course, you are eligible for appearing in this test.
4. There is no age limit for CPT exam.
As per this criteria, you would have to complete your HSS examination to become eligible.
