As per CTET eligibility criteria, you need to have any one of the following in addition to your degree to appear in the exam:
    1. Diploma in Elementary Education of two year duration
    2. A Bachelor's degree in elementary education of four years' duration
    3. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed. ) degree of two year duration
    4. A B.Ed. special of one year's duration. If you have any one of the above, irrespective of your degree, you can apply for CTET. If you don't have any, you have to pursue any Diploma or degree in education as per NCTE regulations.

Any candidate having a qualified B.Ed Programme recognised by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TET/CTET. Post-Graduation candidate with a minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three-year integrated B.Ed.
