  • Dear Candidate,
The basic criterion is group subject to be 50% and above for open category and 45% for reserved category students.
The second criterion is MHT-CET 2018 or JEE (Mains) 2018. Government CAP round seat will be given on the basis of merit of MHT-CET 2018 or JEE (Mains) 2018. Last year, the cut off for home university candidate was 79 CET score and that for out-of-home university candidate was 83 CET score.

    Hello Karan,
Congratulations for excellent percentage in HSC.
You can get CSE in DPCOE if College is placed on 1st preference. Because the Cutoff for CSE (Home University Candidate) was 81 last year i.e. Last Candidate which is Male has 81 marks and got CSE in 1st round of OPEN Category. Cutoff for 2nd Round was also 81 marks in CSE. I.e. male candidate of open category got allotted. And Round 3rd cutoff was 77 marks i.e. Male Candidate having 77 marks is last candidate in OPEN Category which got CSE. You can get CSE in DPCOE. But for that you have to put DPCOE in 1st Choice and CSE branch as first choice.

Hey! Regarding placements, PCCOE&R is generally better than DPCE because it has stronger connections with companies, higher placement rates, and more recognition from recruiters. Suppose you are looking for a better chance of getting a high-paying job, especially in areas like computer science or mechanical engineering. In that case, Pimpri Chinchwad College of Engineering and Research is likely a better option. However, DPCE could still be a good choice if you are interested in a particular branch or care more about the campus experience.

I hope you got your answer

Thanks
