Am i eligible for gate exam - i m passed my Btech regular from NIMS university its UGC approved(NOT AICTE)-- i heard that eligibility for GATE is " candidate should be passout from Examinations conducted by UPSC/AICTE ---and i m passout form uGC Approved university which conduct programs directly??

yes you are eligible for the exam. GATE is an admission test for admissions to ME/M.Tech/MS/PhD programs in IISC and IIT's. Many PSU's like IOCL,NTPC,BHEL,BARC,Power Grid, etc accepts GATE Score as their eligibility criteria. GATE qualified candidates are eligible for a stipend of 8000 INR per month
