Am I eligible for giving NET exam with 54.83% marks in my post graduation?

Also, I scored 61% marks in graduation.

    Those students who completed the Masters or Post graduation in a particular subject, there are some eligibility criteria. You need 55% marks in the post-graduation to appear in the National Eligibility test. Whereas, the candidates from the reserved category needs 50% marks. There is no age limit to appear in the National Eligibility test, but to avail the JRF Fellowship, the age limit is 30 years (35 years for the Female and Reserved category candidates.)

    The UGC NET Exam is conducted for the candidates completed the Masters or Post graduation in a particular subject. Well, to make career in the Lectureship and Research programme, there are some eligibility criteria. You need 55% marks in the post-graduation to appear in the National Eligibility test. Whereas, the candidates from the reserved category needs 50% marks. There is no age limit to appear in the National Eligibility test-https://www.eduncle.com/cbse-ugc-net-exam, but to avail the JRF Fellowship, the age limit is 30 years (35 years for the Female and Reserved category candidates ).

    Hi Kiran,
    Eligibility for the NET exam is 55% in post graduation and I think your marks do not fulfil the eligibility criteria but the marks are near to the cut-off so you can improve your marks by giving improvement exam and then you may apply for the NET exam.
