Yes as the basic qualification is any graduates including medicine, nursing, general, science, arts, engineering , technology, fine arts. You are eligible. You focus on preparing on civil services prelims exams

Hi, In order to become an IAS officer you have to appear in Civil Service Exam. The Civil Service Examination is organized by UPSC every year to recruit candidate for IAS, IPS etc. Eligibility: -Nationality: A citizen of India. -Academic Qualification: The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any field from a well known college or university. Candidates who have appeared at an examination the passing of which would render them educationally qualified for the Commission's examination but have not been informed of the results as also the candidates who intend to appear at such a qualifying examination will also be eligible for admission to the Preliminary Examination. -Age Limits: A candidate must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on 1st August, in the year of examination. The upper age limit prescribed above will be relaxable in the following cases: *Scheduled Caste or a Scheduled Tribe: upto a maximum of 5 years. *Other Backward Classes: upto a maximum of 3 years. -Physical Standards : The candidate should be physically and medically capable. -Number of attempts: Every candidate appearing at the examination who is otherwise eligible, shall be permitted four attempts at the examination. Qualifying the Civil Service Exam: The all India combined competitive examination for Civil Service comprises of two stages. They are -Preliminary Examination -Main Examination Clearing the Main Examination: Main examination is of descriptive type. It consists of nine papers. Time duration for each paper is three hours. It comprises of the following papers.
