Yes, you can apply in KSET. But the only thing is that you can apply in general not in any kind of catagory because the catagory of obc sc st is reserved for the students of Kerala. So chose accordingly and wisely.

If you scored 35 in Paper 1 and 86 in Paper 2 (total 152) in the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) 2024 and belong to the SC category, you may qualify for the exam. The minimum qualifying marks for SC, ST, OBC, and PWD categories is 35% aggregate in both papers.

Explanation

The KSET is an exam for candidates who want to become Assistant Professors.

The cut-off marks for KSET vary by category and subject.

To qualify for the exam, candidates must score at least the minimum qualifying marks in both papers.

The final answer key and results are available on the official website.

There's a huge number of subjects and their cut off marks are also different so you need to be specific about the subject and then you can ask for a specific subject cut off.

In general, with a score of 140 in Category 1, it seems a bit difficult to get admission.

As according to the previous year cut off, very few subjects were the official which category 1 cut off was near by 140.
