The profession of dietetics contributes to the promotion of health and the prevention and treatment of illness by optimising the nutrition of populations, communities and individuals. Dietitians have a defined and recognisable body of knowledge and utilise scientific principles and methods in the study of nutrition and dietetics, applying these results to influence the wider environment affecting food intake and eating behaviour. The scope of dietetic practice is such that dietitians may work in a variety of settings and have a variety of work functions. Hi Graduation- Candidate must have completed B.Sc. with any life science subject as one of the subjects in Part-II or B.Sc. (Vocational) Food Science and Quality Control or B.Sc. with Nutrition as one of the subjects from a recognized University. Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET). Yes, you are eligible. Thanks!

Yes, you are eligible for MSc in food and nutrition as most of the universities in their eligibility criteria mention that candidate should have any of these subjects (Chemistryor Botany or Zoology or Genetics or Microbiology or Biochemistry or Biotechnology) during your graduations.
