Am i eligible for M.tech in Automobile Engg. ?

I am an instrumentation engineering student, i am interested in automobile engg.

Yes. Engineering students are very much eligible to apply for M.Tech in Automobile Engineering. The eligibilty criteria is as a student must be having a degree in B.Tech or equivalent course with a minimum overall percentage of 50% from a recognised university.

Yes, B.Tech/BE graduates student can apply for M.Tech, after clearing GATE exam. If you have good scores, you can apply at IITs /NITs. It's not necessary that you have to study B.Tech in automobile for doing M.Tech in the same.

Hi Surya, There are many institute specific entrances in order to pursue M.Tech other than GATE. But, it would be advisable to opt for M.Tech after clearing GATE exam as it opens more doors of esteemed universities such as IITs, NITs, IIITs etc. Universities offering M.Tech without GATE : -Ali
