I have scored 51% in B.Sc botany honors from Calcutta University.

Yes you're eligible for MSW in Visva Bharathi University. You need to read NCERT's social books classes from 6th-12th for basics then read current affairs daily and prepare a chart with glimpses of main events of history, geography, economics, civics books of India and foreign coun
