    Hello Neha,
    According to NEET 2018, the eligibility criteria, it is mandatory for aspirants of the general category to score at least 50% in PCB for being eligible to appear for NEET exam.
    While for SC/ST category, the minimum percentage required in PCB to appear in NEET is 40%.
    Since, you scored 49% in your HSC and also you are from SC/ST, so, you are eligible for the NEET exam.

    Yes, you are eligible to apply. In case of Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward Classes, the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40% marks.
