    The eligibility criteria for the National Eligibility Test (NET) is determined by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in India. To be eligible for the NET exam, a candidate must have completed a master's degree or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 55% marks (for general category candidates) or 50% marks (for candidates belonging to the SC/ST/OBC/PwD categories).
