Am I eligible for NET exam as I'm having a master's degree of DEVELOPMENT from Ajim Premji University, Bangalore.

I've done my Masters in M.A. In development from AJIM PREMJI UNIVERSITY, Bangalore. But I didn't found this subject in the list of NET subjects, so how should I go about it.

    Hello,
    Yes, as per your qualification you are eligible to appear in the UGC NET exam under Sociology or Management. I have written or because as per the NTA guidelines a candidate can appear in the exam for 1 subject only in one session. You are prohibited to fill two forms at a time. But there are certain other criteria also which you need to fulfil to appear in the exam is your age limit. If you are applying for the JRF the, your age must not be more than 30 years of age.     Yes, NET is for post graduated candidates. Eligibility criteria for exam is post-graduation with 55% of marks in any discipline.
