Am I eligible for NET exam? I have completed M.A history from PU Chandigarh as private and got 45%.

The candidate who has secured at least 55%marks in their master's degree is eligible for the test. For (Sc/OBC/ST/PWD) at least 50% in their Master's degree are eligible.

I am sorry to write that 45% marks don't make you eligible to take NET exam. A minimum of 55% is required to appear for it. Think of other options as your career or better improve your percentage by appearing in exams again.
