    CAT 2018 Eligibility:
    50% marks in Graduation
According to CAT 2018 eligibility, a candidate is eligible to appear in CAT 2018, if he/she holds Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. The candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Differently Abled (DA) categories need only 45% marks.
Final year students eligible to apply
CAT exam eligibility criteria further clarify that candidates in final year of Graduation are also eligible to apply for CAT 2018.
If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally, only if she/he submits a certificate latest by June 30, 2019

No, it's better to take CAT exam only after pursuing your graduation because to get a call from IIM, it's necessary.

    Hello,
You can give CAT but you will not get a call from any good B-School as they require a candidate who should have passed graduation or is appearing in the final year of graduation.
    Good luck.

    Eligibility criteria for CAT 2018:
The candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
Percentage obtained in Bachelor's degree would be calculated on the basis of practice followed by the concerned university. In case of grades/CGPA, the conversion would be based on the process defined by the concerned university. In absence of any percentage conversion scheme, candidates CGPA will be divided by maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100. Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification are also eligible to apply for CAT.
