Yes, you can apply for SAT examination even after taking a drop. This examination happens in every three months which you can give according to your convenience. -

You may browse the website collegeboard.org for SAT test registration & for preparations you may look at khanacademy.org. It happens 5 to 6 times in India & best time to give SAT is class 11th. The test is all about Maths & English & can be retaken as well.
