There are no specific eligibility criteria for SAT 2017. Since SAT is taken for admission in colleges, students are advised to take the test when they are in junior or senior high school. There is no specific score or time to take SAT, one can take the test irrespective of any particular SAT test eligibility criteria. In the US, students take the exam in their junior or senior years of high school (grades 11th or 12th). This means SAT candidates are roughly 17 and 18 years old, however, there is no age limit or other SAT test eligibility requirement.
