Yes, if you have completed a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) degree, you are eligible to appear for UPTET for the upper primary level (Classes VI-VIII). To be eligible for UPTET, you must have a Bachelor's degree and a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) or a Bachelor's degree and a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed) or a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed) or a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

I. Primary Level (Class I-V)
II. Upper Primary Level (Class IV-VIII)
Educational Qualification:
1. Minimum educational qualifications for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V (Primary Level):
Degree with Minimum 50% from a U.G.C. recognised university/ SC/ ST/ OBC/ PH/ freedom fighters will be given for 5% in Degree & 02 years Diploma (D.Ed) from N.C.T.E/ Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI).
OR
Degree with 02 years B.T.C., C.T. (Nursery)/ Nursery Teacher Training (NTT) (02 years) from Established by Law and U.G.C. recognized university.
