Am I eligible to appear for IIT JEE or IIM entrance exam?

Presently, I am in 11th standard. I have PCB + Maths (optional) and I am extremely devoted to engineering.

    Hello Abhimanyu,
Like you mentioned, you are keenly devoted to engineering, I advise you to take Maths as a compulsory subject because IIT JEE newly revised pattern of calculating scores considers your marks in Maths, Physics and Chemistry of Class XII. So, if you are interested in doing Engineering, you should take PCM + Optional subject.
Wish you all the very best.

Since you are extremely interested in pursuing engineering, you need to opt PCB + mathematics in your class 11th and 12th. However, you can pursue engineering in biotechnology stream without studying mathematics in your class 11th and 12th.

Yes, you are eligible for PCMB and PCBM both. But, as you are interested in engineering, you must make mathematics as your compulsory subject and bio as optional.
