Am I eligible to appear for NET exam?

I want to take NET in management or mass communication. I completed my PGDBM in 2004 but the course was not recognised by AICTE. Also, I am pursuing MA from Rajarshi Tandon Open University.

For appearing in NET, one should have 12+ 4 years of education that is M.Sc, B.Tech, MS, MA, etc. with 55% score without rounding off. For SC/ ST, the score is 5% less which is 50%.
