The National Council of Teacher Education, received representation from state governments and other stakeholders in respect of inclusion of Bachelor of Commerce degree holder for the appointment of teacher for class VI to VIII. Therefore, it has been decided to include B.Com graduate also in the qualification prescribed for appointment as a teacher, the official added. A notification in this regard will be issued shortly.

Clearance of State Eligibility Test (SET)/TET or NET will be an added advantage.
