The eligibility for the course is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with English) or equivalent. LPU School of Computer Application is ranked among the top four Computer Applications Institutes of North India by NASSCOM. The program provides an introduction to the fundamentals of Information Technology, Imparts knowledge on networks tools and techniques by understanding various existing wired and wireless networking models and protocols. The course includes Open Systems Interconnection communication model, local area networks, bridges, routers, and gateways, addressing, and local and remote procedures. Simulating the physical layer basics, network protocol algorithms, error handling, flow control, multihop routing network reliability, timing, advanced network protocols, and infrastructure, applications of high-performance networks. The highest salary offered was 19.25 LPA and the average package was 3.1lpa.

Greetings, Harshal Yes, if you have a commerce background and have completed your 12th grade, you are able to pursue BCA. Eligibility for BCA at LPU is a 50 percent pass in 12th grade with English . Being a graduate of Lovely Professional University, I believe LPU is the greatest option for a BCA programme. I say this since one of my friends received her BCA from LPU and is currently employed with Wipro. Being a alumni of Lovely Professional University, I would LPU is best for BCA course. I am saying this because one of my friend has done BCA from LPU only and right now she is working with Wipro. Few points told by my friend who did her studies from LPU that will help you to make your decision: She told me LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. Certifications from industries, Hackathons and workshops, Guest lectures, Regular educational trips, Real life live projects, Community projects, etc. All are essential and integral part of the curriculum. After completing most of the students opt for higher studies, and some students opt placements to gain some experience. The average salary package offered is 3 LPA to 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered is between 9 LPA to 11 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, TCS and many other companies visit our campus for placements. But this is BCA that's why a lot of students think to do MCA from foreign universities.
