Am I eligible to get a job in a private bank? I completed my B.Com with 47% and correspondence MBA in finance with 55%.

Private banks hire people at entry level from the campus. Since you have done MBA through correspondence you might have missed this opportunity. You could start working with a DSA / sales / channel partner of a bank or NBFC / HFC and start gathering experience. You could apply to a private bank as and when an opportunity comes up meeting your expertise. One should continue to be hopeful and stay focused to acquire the desired skill sets.
