Am I eligible to get admission for Diploma in mechanical engineering after SSC BOARD EXAM. Have scored 79% in SSC.

Admissions to engineering college after Diploma is done via two streams. Firstly, by lateral admission, wherein admission is given directly into 2nd year of engineering. Other option is where in Diploma is considered as equivalent to class 12th and admission to an engineering college is done by normal procedure.
In your case, you can attempt to get lateral admission in Aeronautical Engineering branch in a college of your state.
