    You must require a minimum of 55 percent of marks. That's a mandatory requirement for applying the course.

    Honors in graduation is not mandatory to pursue B. Ed from any recognized university. If you have completed your bachelors degree program, in any field, from a recognized university and have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the same, you are eligible to pursue B. Ed course.

    Hi Bikash,
    Criteria for B.Ed is Pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent
    Or,
    Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech.Or, BE with specialization in Science and Mathematics or equivalent (Candidate must have studied the subject of the subject combination for at least three years at Bachelors Level or Masters Level).
    5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories as applicable.

    For B.Ed, minimum criteria is 60% marks, but some universities take admission with the less marks also. So, try in some private universities. You can get admission easily.

    Majority of the universities take a minimum 55% of marks for the eligibility for B.Ed.

    Candidates with at least 55 percent marks either in the Bachelor's degree and/or in Masters in Sciences/Social sciences/commerce/humanity, Bachelors in Engineering or
    Technology with a specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto are eligible for admission to this programme.

    Dear,
    As per the Eligibility by IGNOU, at least fifty percent marks either in the Bachelors Degree and/or in the Masters Degree in Sciences/Social Sciences/Commerce/Humanity. Bachelors in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto.
    The reservation and relaxation of 5% marks in minimum eligibility will be provided to SC/ST/OBC (Non creamy layer)/PWD candidates as per the rules of the Central Government.
    Reservation to Kashmiri Migrants and war widow candidates will be provided as per the University Rules.
