Hello there, Yes, you can get admission in BCA. Firstly, I want to clear percentage of marks don't decide your stream or future studies. There are several reasons because of that student gets less percentage in final exams. So, remember few things before deciding your next level in study.
    1. Don't influence by others achievement or failure, just see your strength, interest and hobbies.
    2. Do what you want, study what makes you to study. Not what your parents, friends and colleague want you to do so.
    3. Don't think a stream is less or more. Every stream has own value. So, choose according to your interest.
    4. Be confident while choosing

First of all, You have not mentioned a particular college name and category so it is difficult to predict accurately the eligibility criteria for the BCA course. Because Every college has its own eligibility criteria which means it depends from college to college. In general, the eligibility criteria for the BCA course is candidate must pass 10+2 with a minimum of 50 percent (for the general and OBC category) in any stream with English Mathematics as compulsory, and computer Science. For the SC/ST reserved category 45 percent is required. I hope this will help you. If you have any other doubts please ask.

It depends on the college you choose. You will surely get admission in a private college, but for the government, it depends on the cutoff, and also you can give an entrance exam to secure a seat as your percentage won't matter then.

A gap of 1 to 2 years after 12th can be considered normal. Although the students should be able to address it via the valid documents. The reasons like health, finance, skill development or family are accepted.

And if the gap after the high school Diploma is beyond 2 years, strong documentation is required to justify the same. The documents like which shows productivity for which an SOP can serve great purposes.

Yes, it should not be hard for you to get admission to the University of Western Australia as an Indian student with 50% in class 12th. However, please note that it does not put you in the top applicants either. The general admission percentage requirement for international students is 50 to 65%.

Look at the other admission requirements -

  • English proficiency tests with IELTS (bands 6.5) or TOEFL iBT (82+)
  • High school Diploma from a recognised board like CBSE or ICSE etc.
  • Some course-specific subjects for Engineering programs

Top universities require a minimum of 80-90% in your 12th-grade board exams.

  • Average universities often accept students with 60-75%.
  • For highly competitive courses like Medicine, cut off is usually higher.
  • Strong SAT/ACT scores can also compensate for a slightly lower board percentage.

Countries like Germany and Norway are excellent options. Because public universities there charge little to no tuition fees.  The cost of living and education is significantly lower compared to the USA or UK. You must factor in living expenses and language requirements.
