Am I eligible to get any scholarship offered by LPU?

So, the University extends Scholarship Scheme to students on various parameters. Scholarship can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. Students. Kindly note the scholarship is awarded on the basis of submitting the relevant documents at the time of admission. LPU provides scholarship on the basis of LPU NEST academic performance in matriculation and higher secondary, sports, cultural, etc. And that is depends upon on which course you intend to take admission in LPU. Dear Nikhil, Yes, you can get a scholarship if you fulfill the eligibility for the scholarship. You can avail of a 100% scholarship on the basis of Performance in Sports. Scholarship applicable on the basis of Qualifying exam National Level Test LPUNEST exam Sports Cultural R &amp; D Co-curricular Social Service Bravery Awards Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Scholarship for Orphan Applicants/Single girl child Scholarship for Person with Certain Disability Students who have topped their board examination of eligibility qualification (10th or 10+2 as applicable) and are among the top 20 merit holders, may avail scholarships of full tuition fee waiver and hostel fee waiver which is applicable to four-seater air-cooled rooms. To facilitate quality education to deserving applicants, LPU offers a special scholarship of Full Tuition fee waiver to orphan students who are residents of India and whose both parents are dead. So, the University extends Scholarship and Financial Aid Scheme which is an initiative by the University to cultivate the talent of students that may be hidden due to financial constraints. Scholarship/ Financial Aid can be availed in all the Programmes of the University, ranging from Diploma to Ph.D. In the last seven years, University has offered Scholarships/ Financial Aid worth 500+ Crores. The fee structure depends on many factors like the programme you want to join, the caliber of the student, the performance of the candidate in the qualifying examination and in the entrance tests if applicable. So, applicable fees for the programme depend on the Scholarships if any is applicable. Scholarship will generally be awarded on the basis of previous performance in academics, cultural, sports or other activities or under specific scholarship schemes category for a particular section of students. Hi Nikhil, of course anybody is eligible for scholarship. You need to take LPU NEST test for the desired programme and with the score you are eligible for the scholarship. For each course the bracket of scholarship is different. Apart form LPU NEST LPU offers other scholarships too. Here are the details: In a bid to owe the social responsibility towards the needy, and give a token to the meritorious, LPU offers a range of scholarships and financial aid. You do not have to apply for a scholarship every time you pay the fee. What you get at the time of admission, continues till the course is over. However, the criteria is different for those who have sought admission through sports quota, board toppers and performing arts. If you are a board topper and someone from sports category and extra curricular performance category, you will have to either maintain a CGPA or keep performing in sports or extracurricular activities as the case may be. Otherwise if you have got scholarship through LPU NEST then you are not bound to maintain your academic or sports performance. There are other scholarships the university offers. Marks based (for previous two qualifying Exams) Performance in other National Level Entrance test Performance in Sports, Performance in Cultural, R&amp;D, Co-curricular, Social Services, Bravery Special Scholarship for Toppers of Education Board Financial Aid for Defense /CAPF and their dependents Financial Aid for Orphan Candidates Financial Aid for Persons with certain disabilities LPUNEST Study Grant Minorities Transgender Non Traditional student Need Based-Financial Aid EWS scholarship for those whose family income is less than 5 lacs Single girl child Single Mother Orphan. Many students get scholarship in LPU according to their +2 Percentages and their Score in LPU NEST exam. It also provides scholarships to the toppers of the corresponding years in University Scholarship 1 Every year, roughly 50-60 per cent of the students receive scholarships from LPU thereby bringing down their course fees by 70-75%. Scholarship 2 University offers scholarship on the basis of performance in LPU NEST is available for all programmes of the university except Diploma in Elementary Education (D. El. Ed. ) Scholarship bracket for Hons/ Integrated/ Professional programme will be same as corresponding regular programme.
