Am I eligible to give CAT and MAT exam?

CAT is national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by the IIMs. MAT is a national-level management entrance examination conducted by AIMA. CAT is national-level MBA entrance examination conducted by one of the IIM on a rotational basis. Admission to IIMs is two stage process. The first stage is based on CAT score. Candidates who clear CAT are called for GDPI. Selection is based on CAT score, GDPI performance and academic records. The minimum eligibility criterion for admission in MBA is at least a 3-years Bachelor's degree in any subject from a recognised university with at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent (45 per cent for SC/ST or persons with disability (PWD) category).CAT test does not have a predefined syllabus. CAT tests candidates in general aptitude including Verbal Ability (English), Quantitative Ability (Mathematics), Logical Reasoning (LR) and Data Interpretation (DI) skills. CAT is multiple-choice based test with penalties for wrong answers. Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardized test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003. Any B-School - national or international - can consider MAT Score as an admission input based on the Score Cards issued to the candidates.
