Verify the eligibility criteria for admissions to B.Ed. In the prospectus of the institute. After B.Ed. , clearance of State Eligibility Test (SET)/TET or NET will be an added advantage.

You are certainly eligible to become a teacher in the government schools, provided you fulfill all the eligibility criteria. As per your qualification, you can apply for PGT posts in a government department. For this, you need to appear for CTET test provided you have 50% marks in B.Ed. You should qualify for this exam so as to apply for teaching positions in central schools namely KVS, NVS, etc. On the other hand, each state government conducts the TET exam, so as to select candidates in respective state government schools for teaching posts.
