Am I eligible to pursue B.Tech from NIT or IIT after completing Diploma? Kindly provide a valid reason along with yes and no.

    There is no lateral entry scheme in NITs and IITs after Diploma engineering.

    You can give LEET exam for taking admission for B.Tech course. But, in NIT or IIT this provision of getting admission in second year through LEET is not available.

    Diploma holders are eligible to get direct admission in second year of B.Tech or B.E. The exam through you can avail this facility is konwn as LEET EXam
    LEET - Lateral Entry Entrance Exam
    LEET exam is conducted for Diploma holders who want to get admission in B.E or B.tech courses. This is national level exam. But you can also apply for state level exams in you belong.
    Sorry budy but there is no direct exam to get admission in IIT/NIT after complte a diploma course.

    Yes, you can. See, my posts and valid reasons are also mentioned. Lateral every is not possible in joining to NIT or IIT. You have to study from the initial stage.

    Yes, you can be able to pursue B.Tech from NIT or IIITs but in that you have to take lateral entry and by then you get B.Tech course in these colleges.
