Dear,
Mass communication field is open for every stream but why do you want to drop engineering field. Kindly specify a short introduction about yourself and your career goals. Only then, I would suggest you options for the same,

I'm scared of my past experience and want to join a easier stream in degree and after completion of my intermediate I wanted to do mass communication or BBA.

The candidate must have completed Senior Secondary/ 10+2 Standard from a recognised university. The candidate must have a minimum aggregate percentage of 50% at the 10+2 level. So yes you are eligible.
