    Hello Sandhya,
    Candidates should have passed B.Sc with physics as major subject with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in management or commerce from a recognised university with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate.

    Yes.
    Eligibility for Master of Science [M.Sc] (Mathematics):
    Candidate must be preferably an honours graduate under (10+2+3) pattern in mathematics from this university or any other recognized university. Candidate must be considered other graduate under (10+2+3) pattern if they have studied at least 300 marks in mathematics at under graduate level from this university or any other recognized university with at least 55% marks in mathematics. Marks relaxation for reserved category candidates will be given as per the rules of Government of West Bengal for M.Sc.

    Eligibility criteria to seek admission in MSc Maths is BSc / BSc Hons Maths or BA / BA Hons Maths. Some Universities allow any candidate who has obtained Bachelor degree in any subject and has qualified at least three (3) courses each of one year duration or six (6) courses each of one semester duration in Mathematics. As you did not meet both the criteria you are not eligible to seek admission in MSc Maths
