    The M.Arch course requires a background in architecture or related courses. Most universities in India require applicants to have passed a B.Arch or closely related undergraduate course in architecture. For the most part, a B.Des will not be sufficient for this, though some institutions may give a little leeway in terms of requirements or interdisciplinary programs. Some institutions may be allowed to admit individuals with conversion programs or special entry requirements.
