Am I eligible to take direct 2nd-year admission to B.Tech programme?

Hi, You are eligible for admission as a lateral entry for B.Tech. Your syllabus will be mapped and then decided. You can check for the benefits of good education and the admission procedure from the web sites of some good universities like SRM, NALSAR and LPU. Check for the academic excellence offered. Yes, you are eligible to take admission in a respective branch if you have done Diploma in any particular branch. Then through lateral entry process, you can take admission in engineering college for your specific branch. All the best.

You have an excellent percentage in your Diploma and yes, you are definitely eligible to get admission in the second year of B.Tech through the lateral entry process.

You can get admission in the second year of B.Tech after completing Diploma. If you didn't complete Diploma then you are not eligible to get direct admission in the second year. You have to start your Bachelor's degree from the first year.
