You have an excellent percentage in your Diploma and yes, you are definitely eligible to get admission in the second year of B.Tech through the lateral entry process.

You can get admission in the second year of B.Tech after completing Diploma. If you didn't complete Diploma then you are not eligible to get direct admission in the second year. You have to start your Bachelor's degree from the first year.
