Am I eligible to take direct admission in second year of Civil Engineering? If yes, can you suggest some colleges?

Yes, you are eligible. Diploma holders in the civil or allied stream are eligible to take admission, in the second year of the course. They must have done their diploma after 10th (3 year) with min 50% or after 12th (2 year) and they need to qualify LEET. Various engineering colleges in India also offer direct admission to diploma holders in second year of the course and in reputed institutes, after completing diploma student gets entry in second year of B.Tech through LEET. Some private institutes like BITS Pilani, VIT, LPU University, etc. conduct their separate entrance test. Yes, you can apply through lateral entry for taking admission in the 2nd year of B.Tech. Just contact the college management.
