Yes, you are eligible to work part time while studying. 20 hours a week is what Government of Canada allows international students. You can work full time (40 hrs) during holidays (summer vacation etc.)

Hi, All international students can work part time while studying, it had to be 20 hours or less per week. You can start working once your session starts not once you enter the country.
