The ACLAT (Alliance Common Law Admission Test) is specifically designed for admissions to the Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Law (Honors) programme at Alliance University, Bangalore. It is not just a scholarship test but an entrance exam for the BALLB program.

On the other hand, the AUSAT (Alliance University Scholastic Aptitude Test) is used for both admissions and scholarship opportunities for various undergraduate programs, including BALLB. So, AUSAT serves a dual purpose: it can be an entrance test and a scholarship test.

There is no upper age limit for candidates to get admission to LLM programme through ACLAT. They only need to meet the ACLAT eligibility criteria, crack the entrance and obtain marks equal to or greater than the ACLAT cutoff for admission.

To participate in the ACLAT counselling, candidates need the following documents: 

• Class X and Class XII marksheets
• Graduation marksheets of all semesters
• Photo ID proofs, such as Aadhaar Card, Voter ID or Passport
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Category Certificate (if applicable)
• ACLAT admit card
• Passport-size photos
• Birth Certificate

ACLAT is conducted by a private institute, Alliance University, Bangalore. Thus, candidates from all Indian states can apply for ACLAT to get admission to LLM course offered by the institute. They only need to meet the ACLAT eligibility criteria.
