Am i taking a risk of dropping 1 year for cracking IIT after i passed 12th cbse board .please guide me in this and help me with one reason.

most important thing to consider at this stage is that were u able to give your 100% this year.... If not u should definitely drop without any second thought. also as mentioned in other answer u should not get hindered away from your goal.for that I advice you to take coaching and a PG near it in an

Taking drop after 12th is quite common nowadays. If you want to pursue engineering and were unable to get good government college then taking a drop chance is a good opinion.

In this 1 year, you can come across with many topics like vectors, kinematics, rotational dynamics, etc. If you will take a drop, then you will have to work hard. All the best.

If you have already dropped, then there is nothing to fear and nothing to loose. Just focus on your final motto and what you want to get in life. See, if you think that you can crack the exam then you can take a drop. It is not a risk then but if you feel that you won't be able to get that then only it is a risk and then I'll suggest you opt for the drop as in that, there are chances and you will certainly crack JEE Mains.
