    Hi,
Read all NCERTS from class 6th-class 12th
    The newspaper is a must.
There are either books such as laxmikant, nitin singhania, gc long etc. Opt for your subjects carefully and have a comprehensive knowledge about everything. You can take help from coaching also.

To prepare for UPSC Exam, first you have to clear basic concepts ! Download syllabus ! Be clear why you want to give UPSC !
    1) Read NCERTs books
    2) Read Newspaper daily !
After completing this two, you can start following standard books like Laxmikant for polity etc. You can go for UPSC coaching seminar for fresher !
