Hi Liza, For starting the UPSC CSE preparation, start with NCERT books. It will help you to understand the concept more than anything else. You will get complete basic knowledge about the exam's syllabus.

Hi, Read all NCERTS from class 6th-class 12th The newspaper is a must. There are either books such as laxmikant, nitin singhania, gc long etc. Opt for your subjects carefully and have a comprehensive knowledge about everything. You can take help from coaching also.

To prepare for UPSC Exam, first you have to clear basic concepts ! Download syllabus ! Be clear why you want to give UPSC ! 1) Read NCERTs books 2) Read Newspaper daily !
