Hi there, Amity is certainly a good private university. As far as drugs are concerned, LPU has zero-tolerance for not only drugs but also for indiscipline, sexual harassment, ragging, violence, etc. Too. LPU management is very strict. If anyone is found guilty, strict action is taken against them. The B Tech CSE programme is one programme that LPU is known for. Well-tailored course content to meet the global industrial needs, good faculty, and state-of-the-art facilities have left many NITs far behind. The B Tech CSE programme primarily deals with the development as well as designing of computer software and hardware processes with a strong focus on courses related to algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, etc. That is needed to build and solve problems using computers. The curriculum taught here is of international standard. One gets to learn from foreign and industry experts. There are provisions of international credits in some programs where a student gets an opportunity to go abroad to study. Highlights 1. The CSE dept. LPU is better than Amity University-Jaipur, because the infrastructure and placement of LPU for CSE is better than Amity University-Jaipur. If you are concerned about the drugs in Punjab, then I'll like to tell you that the security and environment which LPU provides to their students are of the best class. It's totally up to you in which society and what kind of people you are living with. Not everyone but some people brings cigarettes and others stuffs in hostel by hiding it from the guards. Wardens do check rooms daily or alternatively. Security also do patrolling in night. If they catches anyone drugging or doing any mischievous act, they cancelled their scholarship and has to pay fine also.

Choose LPU over Amity. The reason is the best infrastructure, great placements, global exposure, and so forth. I would suggest you to opt for hostel facilities because inside the hostel, very strict rules and no issues will be faced by you. Typically, drugs are a concern if you live outside the LPU in rented room.

Hello Divyansh, It is not a fact, it's all up to you how you can live and stay safe. No one will force you for bad things. I am also a current student at LPU and I am also from Punjab.
