Among all the MBA entrance exams which one is easier & which one is harder to crack?

Dear Dinesh, Nothing is hard or easy to crack. The thing which matters is your hard work. If you prepare for the exam well then you can easily crack otherwise you will find an easy exam hard also. For an MBA entrance, there are several exams such as CAT MAT XAT university's own exams such as LPU NEST VITEE, etc. I did an MBA programme at LPU. Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things-
The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experienced faculty members, studying in LPU w...more -
Among all the MBA entrance exams CMAT MAT ATMA is easier as compared to CAT XAT TISS, IIFT. XAT is difficult to crack. As per past years' exams decision-making part of XAT is challenging and confusing. Verbal is also a bit difficult in XAT. CMAT/MAT/ATMA on the other hand are have basic level quant (mostly formula-based), verbal is also easy. A good practice for quantitative aptitude, DI/LR will easily get you through CMAT/MAT/ATMA. For CAT and other exams, you need to practice a bit more. G. K is also part of exams like SNAP TISS and IIFT.

XAT is considered the toughest MBA entrance exam while ATMA CMAT and MAT are comparatively easier. Basic quantitative understanding is required to crack these exams.

Some other non Iims institute or colleges also expect that score on basis of that they give seat to students. Dear aspirant, Great interacting with you. I would say that the easiest exam to crack would be NMAT as it can be attempted 3 times during the next 3 months and also it has no negative marking. A score of 215 should get you through to the interview process in NMIMS Mumbai which is a top - 10 college and a score of 190+ should get you a call from NMIMS Hyderabad and Bangalore. Exams like NMAT MAT SNAP and CMAT are relatively easier than the likes of CAT IIFT and XAT. Though, among the easier exams mentioned, I feel NMAT and SNAP are worth giving. Frankly, the toughness level of each exam depends on your personal strengths. And to be true...more

I would advise you to choose LPU because it is known for its MBA programme and requires the LPU NEST for entrance to its MBA programme. The best part is that you can take advantage of the scholarship opportunity with the aid of LPU NEST. LPU NEST is a good balance between simplicity and difficulty. You will almost probably succeed on the LPU NEST if you put in the necessary effort and have a solid grasp of the material. The LPU NEST is an entirely online MCQ test with no deductible scores. For more you can visit LPU official website.

6 years agoHi,
Though one cannot rank these exams as per the difficulty level because it varies from person to person. Still, as per my personal understanding and experience, I would say SNAP and NMAT are comparatively easier as compared to CAT and XAT which I consider a little tough.
Hope it helps.
All the best.
