In 16 years of my career I've worked with few of them. So lets make a comparison on right parameters. 1. Curriculum development and up-gradation: Without doubt BITS Pilani and LPU are top two. 2. Teaching pedagogy : Again BITS and LPU 3. Industry interface: LPU takes the cake even as its intake is the largest of all. BITS is equally good. 4. Professional etiquette : LPU is a leader as it has developed the processes because of large number of students, BITS already gets the best talent in the country to polish, Thapar and KIIT are not focused on it. 5. Faculty : BITS is clear winner, LPU and Thapar close second. LPU because it has maximun post doctorate and nearly 700 PhDs from all over the world, but then it has the largest number of students too! 6. Entrepreneurship projects: LPU is clear winner, it not only has innovation, design thinking and business incubation labs but also the SEED capital facility for budding start ups. Moreover the massive campus itself provides entrepreneurship opportunities to students. 7. Placements:For the highest packages BITS, for maximum companies offering 10 LPA LPU, for Maximum number of companies LPU and for maximum number of companies per capital students BITS. From few years the demand of Computer graduates is very high in industries and IT sector due to increment in application and software based automation processes. So, your choice of course is absolutely perfect to begin your career. Well every university is doing good for their students but as per my knowledge I can give you the insight of LPU as my cousin did B Tech from here and she is placed in cognizant with good salary package. 1) In LPU, the faculty, infrastructure and facilities are excellent as IITs, NITs. 2) In LPU, due to tie ups with leading companies such as SAP, Cognizant, Microsoft, BOSCH, CISCO, GOOGLE etc. , the syllabus of courses are vetted and inspected by these company professionals in the beginning of every semester. 3) The preparation of placement subjects such as soft skills, analytical skills etc. Are the part of curriculum here like, you will read these as subjects in every semester like other subjects. 4) There are more than twelve Center of Excellence established by the prestigious companies like Automation Any ware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence etc. For on campus Lab training and internships 5) The innovation studio of LPU is a benchmark for design and development center where students can work on their ideas. In 2019, during PM Narendra Modi visit to LPU for Indian Science Congress address, he was visited to main venue from helipad in Driver less car which was designed by LPU students using artificial intelligence. 6) LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. As I was a student from LPU I would recommend LPU over these. LPU is a well renowned private university in India with 30K+ students all across the world and with 4000 experienced faculty members and staff members. There are more than 200 programmes to choose and with a great infrastructure LPU provides all the facilities within the campus itself. LPU has earned many affiliations, recognitions and accreditation down the lane and mark itself amongst the few of the top private universities. Even the placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records. Lovely Professional University is definitely the best place for better placements in CSE because of its good placement records and hi-tech campus. The best part is on-campus placement drives are held so students don't need to struggle more. In last session 200 companies visited LPU for placement drives and around 100+ drives were only for CSE/IT.

Getting placed depend upon individual and the institute. Getting placement is an activity which starts with day one you go to class. Throughout the programme here are some concerns: 1. Maintain your CGPA: This is the first round of elimination. All good companies want throughout 6.0 or more CGPA. For this maintain 100% attendance. 2. Present yourself: be loud and clear in your classes, for this you have to present yourself in all the classes it improves your confidence. Ask questions and reply to teachers questions. 3. Projects: start making small projects from term 2 followed by live projects, and by the end of programme there should be three or more projects in your baskets. 4. Basic Subjects: Programming, Data structure, Database, Operating Systems and Networking are must for any domain in computers. 5. Choose elective wisely: Selection of electives is important you should choose it wisely with the help of your mentor, alumni and faculty. Interdisciplinary electives will be helpful. 6. Participate in events like hackathon: for this be a member of technical clubs. Go for online portals like Hacker-earth, Code-chef, Code-forces and many more 7. Apply only for selected companies: Applying for every company that visits your campus just so as to get a job somehow will give you lesser time to investigate about that particular company as a result you will be knocked out in the HR round. Rejection will lower your confidence. 8. Think big, dream big you will get big. Now you have to decide which institute will provide you opportunities to select your own minor and majors, has pedagogy that meets your need, focuses on evening technical clubs and a dedicated placement cell. Hi Manoj, I definitely understand the dilemma of selecting a university for your higher studies. This can surely be a life changing experience for a lot of us. I remember the day when we had chosen LPU among many other Universities for my brother. We were looking for good University. Now my brother has completed B.Tech and working with Amazon with decent package. His experience was amazing. I would like to discuss few points:- Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of our students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements.
