  • For BE Petroleum Engineering, CU is far superior to LPU since, first and foremost, it offers the best placement opportunities with the best firms and the highest packages. They also treat pupils as if they were their own children, grooming them both professionally and personally. They put a strong emphasis on high-quality education and extracurricular activities, which allows pupils to study more effectively.

Dear Sameeksha, M.Com programme at LPU is good. I have no information of the M.Com degree at Chitkara and CU but being alumni of LPU I will share the same with you at LPU. My friend also did M.Com at Lovely Professional University and now working in SBI bank near to his hometown. I recommend LPU for M.Com as they provide good placements and prepare to its students for government jobs as well. Keeping all these points in mind, I would say LPU is the best choice for doing M.Com. -
No doubt LPU adopts new technologies faster than others they update their curriculum after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also meeting t

LPU is best for M.Com. Many students come from Jammu & Kashmir and many other states from having their degree in M.Com.

LPU is the best place to pursue your higher studies as it provides better opportunities to their students, let it be curricular or extracurricular activities. LPU believes that practical knowledge has more value rather than theoretical one so, it imparts practical exposure to the student through well-equipped designed labs with the experienced faculty and the lab assistants that make you excel in the study. M.Com at LPU focuses on :-
1-Emphasis on case studies and case-based teaching.
2-Application-oriented lectures, assignments and projects to sharpen analytical skills.
3-Entrepreneurial skill development through on-campus entrepreneur

Hey, so from what I've checked on LPU's official site, the NEST counselling is mainly done online, which is super convenient for us students anywhere in India. You just log in after your results, pick your preferred courses and seats based on your rank, and lock it all in digitally—no need to travel right away.
It's got this smooth flow: download your scorecard, fill choices online, get seat allotment via merit, pay the initial fee (like INR20,000) through net banking or UPI, then submit docs later. LPU makes it flexible too, letting you pay offline at campus if you prefer, but the core process stays online for quick access.

Yeah, LPU totally releases the LPU NEST counselling dates on their official site—it's super organized and student-friendly. For 2026, they've got it starting February 8th onwards for B.Tech, with online seat preferences from Feb 8-10, results on 12th, and admissions up to late Feb. Results drop quick, like within 24-48 hours post-exam, so you can jump right into counselling without waiting forever.
It's all online mostly, through nest.lpu.in, where you update choices and get allotments based on your score—makes it easy from anywhere. No offline hassle unless you want campus visits for fees. LPU keeps everything updated live, way

Yes, it is actually very much required to bring along Class 10 and 12 certificates or at least mark sheets during the LPU NEST counseling, primarily because the university explicitly would wish to establish the age of applicants from the Class 10 marksheet and verify eligibility with the Class 12 certificate/marksheet before confirming admission and awarding a scholarship.

at LPU NEST counselling, you would have to check the result & rank, fill and lock online course/seat preferences, get the allotment of the seat based on the rank and choices, pay to secure the seat by paying the initial fee, and go on to upload/verify documents and pay the remaining fee within the stipulated time for final admission.
