    SBI Clerks are responsible for opening bank accounts, looking after the transactions related to the NEFT/RTGS, issuing demand drafts, issuing bank statements, transferring amounts through several payment modes, handling cheque book requests, etc.The SBI Clerks are worked as cashiers, depositors and other front desk posts. They have to deal with customers and address their concerns.     Candidates appointed to the post of SBI Clerk are required to perform the following job responsibilities:

    • Candidates are responsible for the day-to-day bank functions such as opening accounts, amount transfers, issuance of demand drafts (DD), cheque clearance, cheque book requests, receiving inward emails
    • Candidates need to handle cash transactions of the concerned branch, clearing, and transfer of cheques
    • Candidates are responsible for addressing the concerns of customers
