Hi, usually a regular course from a good institute is considered to have more value in the job market than a distance MBA. Syllabus and course structure wise both the courses are almost same. The difference between these two is interaction with others. But if someone is working and having minimum of 3-4 years of work experience then even distance MBA has same value as regular. Because in that case one gets exposure from the work place.
One may consider these institutes for distance MBA.
ICFAI (www.icfai.org), Symbiosis (scdl.com), IMT Ghaziabad (imtcdl.ac.in), Narsee Monjee (nmimsonline.org), Madurai Kamaraj (mkudde.org), IGNOU (ignou.

@sameerIMIT well explained sameer. I would say that selecting the best one for yourself in the market where everyone claims to be the best, the No.1, is a bit hard. There are certain aspects which cannot be ignored like recognition, placements, etc while choosing the best one.

Like to go with the view of Mr. Nikhlesh Mathur. Very nicely explained - different vital components required to be judged for selecting the best in this regard.

The best option is with you not with the institute or university. If you don't have that much potential to do well in this subject even from a good university certification will not survive you in the market.but if you are good & have that much of capability then even from a unknown institution or certification from autonomous organisation will be ok for you.so instead of concentrating about the university just concentrate how to develpo your skills as you are asking for distance mode.so better develpo all your skill from various sources like books, magazins, search engines, every where.

Selecting the best institute without establishing the guidelines for it is like racing with a group with no lanes marked on the ground.
The best distance education institute would be different for different persons basically due to their different requirements. So first establish your requirements for example, proximity to learning centre, method of giving exams, whether they are on-line, whether exams are required to be given by all students at the same time or can the time zone be selected in case of online exam, what is the fee structure, what specialization one wants to do, which institute has a greater name in a particular organiz
