After your diploma, you can go for B.Tech Lateral Entry in any of the streams.
It will be of 3 Years rather then normal B.tech which is of 4 years. It means you can straight way enroll into 2nd year of your bachelor's degree. Students prefer this course with an idea of securing a well paid job after the completion of their professional degree course.

Yes, you can get admission in B.Tech after completing your Diploma. You have to enquire in the desired college of your choice regarding their admission procedure for Diploma students. Colleges such as Galgotias accept applications from Diploma students. All they have to do is fill the examination form for lateral entry. This lateral entry will get them direct admission in the second year of engineering. You can appear for UPSEE examination after completion of the Diploma. Yes, it is a good option. You have to appear for LEET exam and you can secure admission in government college via this exam.
There are also some private colleges which take the exam or direct admission on the basis of Diploma percentage.
