After my 12th science with 80% (PCB), what should I choose: B.Pharma or B.Sc?

I've got 90% in 10th and 80% in 12th.

Well, to answer your question B.Sc would be better, but in my opinion you are a too good scoring student to study either of B.Sc or B.Pharma. I would rather suggest you appear for national entrances and opt for professional courses.

Professional courses are better as you may get a job directly, but B.Sc graduates will have to fight hard to get a job. rest, it all depends on your interest.

    Hello,
Listen, both the degrees stand at equal footing. The difference lies between their subject matter. In B.Pharm, you will be dealing with the medicines and drugs, whereas, B.Sc can be done in various fields (except 'traditional' B.Sc Medical) like biotechnology, microbiology, biochemistry, etc. See, align your interests with the various options available and make a wise choice.

Well, B.Pharma is no more better than B.Sc. Moreover, B.Sc is more difficult to pass than B.Pharma. If you opt for pharma manufacturing, you can get reputation as D.Pharma are generally employed as operators for various machine involved in compression, coating, etc. They will give you respect and you will be called a Sir, which will make you feel good, but living in other state (Baddi, HP ; Sikkim, Mumbai etc.). I need to clarify first: are you asking about admission to Chandigarh University for B.Tech/B.E, or admission to a medical/paramedical course (like B.Sc Nursing, MBBS, BPT, etc.)

The marks required and exam rules differ a lot depending on the stream.

Chandigarh University follows a holistic admission approach, giving importance to both Class 12 performance and JEE Main scores, depending on the route chosen. For students not appearing in JEE, Class 12 performance, particularly in PCM subjects, becomes the primary eligibility criterion, alongside CUCET scores for CSE programs. This dual-focus system allows students with strong 12th marks but no JEE score to secure admission, while rewarding JEE participants with merit a

Yes, for B.E. admission at Chandigarh University, students must meet the basic eligibility criteria of Class 12, irrespective of their JEE score. Generally, candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with one additional relevant subject. Even for students applying with JEE Main 2026 ranks for scholarship consideration, meeting the 12th standard eligibility is mandatory.
