Appearing for 12th in 2019, if I want to crack VIT, IIIT and BITS, what should be my criteria for the JEE/college entrance?
My JEE Mains score will matter or not for getting in above institution? Do they have scholarship criteria?

Must score 75% in 12. Also if you are of general category then you have to work hard too. Focus on your studies and try to get a seat in NIT even in one chance. Also focus on the self studies and get a good Coaching for preparation. The paper of BITS and IIT are similar but you have to put your effort. Focus every question of NCERT even HOTS and make sure that your concepts are strong in every subject.

These colleges have nothing to do with your 12th marks, you have to clear their respective exams like VITEEE BITS and for IIT-JEE Mains but the eligibility criteria in all the above entrance exam is that 60% is required in physics, chemistry, maths/biology. Hi Manan,
The very first thing that you need to do is to score 75% and above in 12th examination with 60% marks in each of PCMB. It is the admission criteria for BITS Pilani admission. Other than that you need to brush up your concepts and practice a lot of mocks. If you are preparing for JEE Mains the same preparation will do good for BITSAT. For information about ranks and college, you can estimate it from Shiksha College Predictor, go through this link: https://www.shiksha.com/b-tech/resources/jee-mains-college-predictor
Best wishes. -

For BITSAT there are a lot of online sample tests available and try for books from different publishers based on BITSAT pattern.

Hello friend, you should have above 75% marks in 12th and should have cleared JEE Mains and JEE Advanced to get into IITs, NITs and other technical Institutions. The syllabus for VIT, BITs, JEE is same, your 11th and 12th. Your concepts of physics, chemistry and maths should be clear. You have to study hard for JEE preparation.
