Are scholarships available for MBA students at Periyar University?

Periyar University has a dedicated sports department or complex. The university has a huge space for outdoor activities such as football, cricket, kho-kho, basketball courts (2000 sqm), badminton, etc. The university regularly organises the All-India South Zone Level Kabaddi, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, and Handball tournaments. Activities available to students encompass indoor sports such as chess, table tennis, Ludo, yoga, and many other worthwhile recreational choices. Additionally, it features a separate gymnasium equipped with professional-grade gym equipment. 

Periyar University library is operational throughout the week from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays and 10.00 am to 5.00 pm on weekends. 

Periyar University asks the candidates to have a minimum bachelor's degree of three years duration. Students should have at least an aggregate of 50%, while reserved category students require 45%. In addition to the eligibility, candidates have to appear for the standardized entrance examinations. Periyar University makes sure that only suitable candidates are admitted to its MBA programme.

Admission into MBA in Periyar University is done based on entrance test marks and selection rounds. They should clear TANCET, MAT, CAT, or Periyar University entrance exam. Selected candidates are then further evaluated based on Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Periyar University makes the final admission into MBA based on overall performance.

Periyar University provides a two-year full-time MBA programme via its Department of Management. The general MBA and an MBA in Export Management are provided by the university. The programmes are offered at the PG extension centre in Dharmapuri. Industry-relevant learning through AICTE accreditation is ensured by Periyar University.
