Are UILS (Chandigarh University) and UILS (Panjab University) same?

(Hons.) and LL.M. with different specializations. The course is a mix of theory and practical learning. CU has strong connections with top legal firms like Kapil Sibal, J Sagar and Amarchand Mangaldas for placements. Students also intern in government offices, Parliament and NGOs.</p><p dir="ltr">The law department has modern classrooms, a law library, a big auditorium, and two moot courts for practical training. CU also has a Pro Bono Club, supported by the Ministry of Law and Justice, which spreads legal awareness. Another key part is Madhyastha – Centre of Excellence, where students learn ADR methods using mediation and AI tools.</p><p dir="ltr">CU hosts law fests, national-level moot courts, and competitions. The university has tie-ups with high courts, and students visit the High Court and Supreme Court.
